Andrew Liu & Co Ltd was formed by Andrew Liu in 1988 as an insurance broker specialising in Marine Hull and Protection & Indemnity insurance. The philosophy of the company then as today was not only to obtain the best insurance rates and terms for ship owners and charterers in South-East Asia but to act as their in house claims and legal advisor with whom clients discuss and trust. This philosophy proved effective and the company quickly established a loyal client base which continues with the firm today. The company has continued its growth and has offices in Seoul and Shanghai.
In addition to a broking service since its beginnings in 1988, Andrew Liu & Co Ltd has successfully assisted, advised and represented a number of clients in legal proceedings throughout South-East Asia and the rest of the world.
The company is a member of the Confederation of Insurance Brokers.
We are the first and at present the only insurance broker in Hong Kong to develop an ISO system for our services and attain ISO 9002 certification.
We have designed our ISO quality system to not only ensure a high quality of service is maintained on the placement of insurance, but also on the claims servicing by ensuring each claims case is reviewed at regular intervals.
